I’m Abby, an artist and analogue animator with a passion for tactile, handmade motion. I love experimenting with materials like charcoal, ink, and photographs to bring expressive stories to life—if it exists in the physical world, I’ll find a way to animate it. My fascination lies in how things move and how to make them move even better. Whether I’m animating frame by frame or crafting scenes from scratch, I’m always exploring new ways to make each moment feel alive.

My work often involves playing with shot composition, editing, and sound design. Every frame is an opportunity to create a little piece of art, and I’m always on the lookout for the perfect angle or the perfect sound effect (celery stalks are surprisingly versatile!).

I also work as a Studio Operations Assistant at Shinfield Studios, helping keep film productions running smoothly and supporting crews with the day-to-day logistics that keep a busy studio ticking. Through this role, I’ve developed a keen interest in working in the art department on film and TV productions, where I can bring my love of tactile creativity and visual storytelling to every project.
